The Mexican-inspired fast-casual restaurant recently opened its first location in Mexico and already has plans for additional locations in the upcoming years. Chipotle also reported a 2.2% same-store sales increase for the second quarter. Along with this report, the company shared progress on its “Recipe for Growth” strategy, which includes new equipment, menu innovation, and continued expansion. Chipotle plans to open 350 to 370 locations this year.
