October 16, 2024 – European Wax Center is now open in Akron along West Market Street. The major chain of hair removal salons has obtained a 1,438 SF space between Great Clips and Anthony Vince Nail Spa in a multi-tenant building anchored by Whole Foods Market. European Wax Center has joined other area retailers including OrangeTheory Fitness, Hollywood Feed, Tropical Smoothie Café, Piada Italian Street Food, Dunkin’, Wingstop, McDonald’s, Swensons Drive-In, and others located at the intersection of West Market Street and Hawkins Avenue.
