June 2, 2022 – Kyle Hartung, Vice President and Director of Investment Sales for Goodman Investment Group, along with Randy Goodman and Alex Justice, recently represented Rural King in the acquisition of the 153,515 SF Canova Town Center located at 508 10th Street Northwest in Conover, North Carolina. On a date to-be-announced, the farm and home store will open as the shopping center’s anchor in the 86,479 SF former Kmart space. The well-positioned shopping center presented Rural King with significant upside in increasing NOI through lease-up of vacant spaces. There are opportunities for tenants to join the future Rural King store in inline and co-anchor positions from 1,050 SF up to 30,866 SF. Goodman Investment Group referred Rural King to North Carolina broker Interstate Realty Company, and together, Goodman and Interstate represented the buyer in this transaction.
