They are now currently leasing a new 51,834 SF Phase II adjacent development, with up to 26,510 SF available to join Michael’s and Five Below (negotiating leases).

The Shops on US 24 – Huntington, Indiana
This former Kmart redevelopment is located at the signalized, high-traffic intersection of US-24 and Guilford Street. The city serves as the county seat of Huntington County, and the site is located across the street from Huntington University, and down the street from Huntington North High School. The development will be anchored by T.J.Maxx and Five Below (at lease), and there is currently up to 51,875 SF available in the remaining box space, with 4,500 SF available in the to-be-constructed multi-tenant outlot building next to T-Mobile (negotiating lease).
The Shops at Emerald Acres Sports Connection – Mattoon, Illinois
The Shops at Emerald Acres Sports Connection (opening 2024) is the retail, restaurant, and hotel component of the 150 AC Emerald Acres sports complex development, located in Mattoon, Illinois – the hometown and headquarters of Rural King. The project is currently under construction on the southwest corner of the I-57 and Charleston Ave E interchange. The current tenant lineup includes Bealls-HomeCentric, Michael’s, Famous Footwear, Ulta, Five Below, Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, and Sport Clips. Retail space and outlot opportunities are currently available for restaurants, hotels, and other retail uses.
The site will offer walkable access to the retail, restaurant, and hotel amenities for players, families, and coaches, elevating the customer experience and driving repeat visits to the sports complex, which will include a 140,000 SF indoor fieldhouse (currently under construction) and 12 multi-purpose turf fields that can host 20 junior baseball/softball fields, 4 varsity baseball fields, and 8 soccer fields. Once open, the sports complex is projected to draw nearly 600,000 visitors to the city annually.
